4. Acdemic Achievements 
Have been engaged in reaserch of griculture soil and water environment conservation ,and achieved progress in gully erosion and consequence assessment, state evaluation of agri-environmental geologic system and fractal characteristics of hydrological processes. In recent years, take charge of 7 scientific research projects, including natural science research project of Shaanxi Province (2), and 5 University scientific research projects. Participation in the national "11th five-year plan" Science and technology program, national natural science foundation project, Ministry of education’ Ph.D foundation project. Shaanxi Province’s natural science Fund project ,etc. Published more than 30 papers .In the United States Journal of soil and water conservation( SCI),Transaction of agricultural engineering(EI), Journal of water resources, Journal of soil and water conservation, Journal of irrigation and drainage, Journal of water-saving irrigation, Journal of the people’ Yellow River, Journal of resources and environment of arid area, Transaction of Northwest A&F Univ. Chief Editor of "Research on characteristics of Agro-environmental Geological and its system state evaluation system of the loess plateau Area"; co-editor "principle of soil erosion", Forestry publishing house, "Engineering geology and hydrogeology", Hydraulic and electricity publishing house, and "Hydrogeology and engineering geology", Agriculture publishing house ,and Chief editor 3 domestic used textbooks, participated in several practise projects and writing engineering geology study reports. 
Take into account disciplines construction and teaching research, presiding over one project comes from Teaching supervision Committee of Water Conservancy, and two University education reform projects. Over the years there are good reflection to my class from the students, ever got 10 times excellence of teaching evaluation. Won honor of 2006 outstanding teacher of University and Excellence awards of 6 times teaching evaluation.
