Song Songbai

1. Basic Information 
Song Songbai, male, born March, 1965 in Yongshou County in Shaanxi Province. Doctor. Professor. Doctoral tutor. Early or later obtained the “Agricultural Soil and Water Engineering” Master Degree and Doctor Degree in Northwest Agricultural University. 
Affiliation: Member of Agricultural System Engineering Committee of China System Engineering Society; March, 2008 to March, 2009 went to Texas A & M University in USA for cooperated research; Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment, Advances in Water Resources and Journal: American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers Reviewer. 

2. Major Research Direction 
Hydrologic Simulation in River Basin; Statistic Hydrology; Measuring Method for the Complication of the Hydrologic System in Varying Environment; Diagnosing Method for the Variable Hydrologic Process. 

3. Teaching Courses 
Up to now, he has hard worked on teaching and scientific research, lectured 9 courses as Hydrologic Statistic, Stochastic Hydrology, Engineering Hydrology, Engineering Hydrology and Calculation, Digital Calculation of Water Resource, River Dynamics, Basic Methods for Scientific Research,Information Management System, Computer Language for the bachelor student, and 5 courses Un-linear Science Theory and Method, Special Hydrology, Stochastic Hydrologic Process, Water Resources and Hydropower Research Progress—Mulit-variations Hydrologic Frequency Calculation, Artificial Neural Network and Application》for the postgraduate students. 

4. Scientific Research and Academic Achievements 
(1) Scientific Research Subjects 
From working to now, he has charged of 3 Chinese National Natural Science Foundation Projects and 2 of Ministry and Province subjects and 3 for University subjects. 
(2) Main Publications 
During present years, he has published more than 60 scientific papers early or late in the Stochastic Environmental Research and Risk Assessment, Water Resource Progress and so on, and Chief editor 2 professional books as Sustainable use indicator system and evaluating Method for the regional water resources, Introduction of Special Hydrology and Joint editor 1 professional book as Application Computer into Agricultural Soil and Water Engineering. 
(3) Professional Contributions 
After worked to now, hard working in scientific research and teaching, 2005 obtained the first “Young Professional Person Support Plan”of the Northwest A&F University. 2006 obtained the Excellent Dissertation for Doctor Degree by the Shaanxi Province.
