Lv Hongxing

1. Basic Information 
Lv Hongxing, male, born March, 1955 Long County in Shaanxi Province. Doctor. Professor. Doctoral tutor. 1979 graduated in Northwest Agricultural College. 1999 obtained the Doctor Degree in Northwest Agricultural University. 
Affiliation: Director of the Department of Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering in College of Water Resources and Architecture Engineering. 

2. Major Research Subjects 
Hydraulics and River dynamics; Water measuring in canal system. 

3. Teaching Courses 
Up to now, he has hard working teaching and scientific research, lectured the course “Hydraulics” for the bachelor student, and “Special hydraulics”, “Calculated Hydraulics” for the postgraduate students. 
He has accumulatively fostered out 21 Master degree and 2 Doctor degree students, at present he has undergraduate 7 Master students and 4 Doctor degree student. 

4. Scientific Research and Academic Achievements 
(1) Scientific Research Subjects 
From 1985 working to now, he has charged of 11 national research projects as 2 of Chinese National Natural Science Foundation Projects and 3 of national 863 project and so on. 
(2) Main Publications 
During present years, he has published more than 70 scientific papers early or late, and Chief editor 1 textbook of“Hydraulics”and Joint editor other 4 professional books as China Water Saving Agriculture, National Standard Water Measuring Regulations in Irrigation Canal System, Local standard of Shaanxi Province Water Measuring Flume in U Type Canals”and Water Saving Irrigation and Automatic Control Technology. 
(3) Professional contributions 
After worked to now, hard working in scientific research and teaching, has obtained Provincial teaching and Scientific Research Prize 2 times, University level teaching Prize 2 times, Provincial Excellent Paper Prize 3 times, has obtained the National Patents 3 subjects.
